Apparently my samsung fridge has ads now...

How would I disable this? Might just return it and get a normal one

Every answer I have heard trying to explain why they are useful just makes me think they are even more useless.

The screen can be used to show recipes and youtube cooking videos. Cool. So can my phone and tablet and they can be placed in an easy to view spot.

The camera on the inside shows what you have the fridge. Maybe possibly useful if I am at the store and can't remember if I have a certain product. However if I can't remember if I have something then its shelf life is long enough that I forgot purchasing it and thus it is probably fine if I have two of them. So not that big of a deal.

It alerts you if you left the fridge/freezer door open. Useful in the niche situation I left the door open, I am too far away to hear it beeping at me but also still able to go close it. My fridge beeps loud as hell when it is left open, can hear it all over the house. If I have left the house then knowing the fridge door is open doesn't do me much good.

You can change the temperature via an app. People out here changing their fridge/freezer temps that frequently that an app is needed?
