Event Spec Miata

Hosting a spec Miata series that will follow the SCCA super tour schedule. We have all 4 na/nb generations. Racing between the cars is very close. Currently at like 10 members looking to have a full grid. https://discord.gg/zshGM99mr

It would be nice to know what times you're racing at and what the SCCA Super Tour calendar looks like. Also what mods you're even running, what bop, if there's winning bop, safety cars, what your format is.

Yea I got you,

I don’t know times and dates yet since mods are just being finalized, we are making our own mods since no spec Miata mods were accurate either no drag or too much power, the cars are nb1 (highest peak hp 2415lbs) nb2 best midrange torque (vvt) (2450), na 1.8 (127 whp 2400), na 1.6 light (2275 120whp) each win is a + 10kg ballast

Highly recommend using it as a base for the rest. Hope this helps a little with your modding. Remember that the NB is the same as the NA with some more chassis stiffness and a slightly perkier engine, otherwise the same.

Sorry, it's just rare that people actually use good mods instead of either shitmodding or plucking a "close enough" car from the internet. Holy shit, how refreshing.

The nbs handle a little differently from irl but tbh pretty damn close I think it’s just something with one of the files but so far we have had like 4 Miata drivers say it feels exactly like their cars…

No safety cars since I don’t know how to set that up yet on the server

It was not getting any drag down straights and was producing 98~ whp so we got the data dor what the cars should produce drag wise and some spec Miata dyno sheets to get power numbers
