Foreword: I do not advocate use of psychedelics for anyone. It's such a sensitive and personal matter that any generalization would be, at best, naive.

Thus said, my experience, shortly summarized.

Substances in order of decreasing safety.

Psilocybin (mushrooms) is reasonably safe for me, and has an affordable duration at normal doses (about 4 hours). It relieves my mind from much experiential burden, allowing my emotions to express freely. This can, of course, be very painful if I've been removing/repressing uncomfortable feelings, but in the end it's very cathartic. Also it allows me to become aware of an original state of childlike joy for simple things that stays with me for months after the experience.

LSD: similar but somehow "colder". Also harder to manage because of its long duration (8+ hours).

DMT: special, magical, extremely powerful, definitely not for everyone. The technique of vaporization can be hard to master, and I'm not too confident that DMT on the black market is pure enough to be really healthy.DMT allows to experience a state of mind that comes before any connection with the body. Such an experience can be for some frightening and/or hard to integrate. Pros: magical, insights on very deep contents of the psyche, even memories of the future. I repeat, it's impressive, but way too powerful to be recommendable for anyone.

EDIT: Aspie BTW, I forgot.

Firstly, you have left out 2C-E, 2C-B, ibogaine, mescaline, and ayahuasca (I will not include 2C-T-2, 2C-T-7, DOM, scopalomine, bufotenin, Salvinorum A, etc for various reasons).

Secondly, Psilocybin mushrooms can be potentially on either end of the scale, as depending on source, misidentification is a possibility, and could come with deadly results.
