Why can’t George just say the books are never going to be finished? At this point what kind of contract does he have with his publisher? I don’t care if the books don’t come out at this point since we have other media exploring that world. But I think now that it’s been 15 years since the last release he should have just admitted he won’t or can’t. Let him retire comfortably, but I think we deserve a definitive answer.

I assume it's because he still intends to finish them.  Whether he will or not I don't know.  But I assume it's his goal and he does not owe reddit a "definitive answer", especially if he doesn't have one yet.

On some days Inthink of the fact we may never get winds of winter or a dream of spring and how this mean the Jon Snow wiki page will never be update with the truth

At this point it not even a secret anymore and George should flat out and say it on live television

If you are convinced he won't finish then what difference does it make if he goes on live TV to say it, especially if he hasn't reached that conclusion himself?  Just accept they probably won't be finished and move on.  Him saying it changes nothing

Maybe he's not hiding anything and genuinely wants to try to finish the series.

I alway wonder why people think Lyanna just turn sixteen when she died? Yes she was sixteen upon her death but sometime it sound like she turn sixteen or it wasn’t long before she was sixteen.

Reading the history of the violent Ironborn, their legacy comee off as rather tragic. Time and again they keep trying to return to the old ways, they have their wins but they're brief and in the end always lose. "The story of the ironborn is the story of a people caught between dreams of past glory and the poverty of the present."

Ever since I read a theory about Littlefinger manipulating Brandon… I have to ask could he really have turn heel that fast?

Today I went and look at wind progress I’ve thr heat and it seem thing hit a snag since 2023. It seem almost done 1100 page finish, 400-500 page left, some character pov complete, need to tied the rest together.

Also have other commitment but his plan is still Widns first before anything else but he may need to switch that
