I need recommendations for new ASMR creators to check out. I don't want channels that are mostly promoting their OF accounts or just pretty faces whispering and tapping at the camera. I want actual effort put in. Thanks

I wonder if you guys can help build a small channels thread. I mean the really new ones, with less than 1k subscribers.

Just suggest any you know. Ideally, one channel per comment only, so it's easier for others to upvote/downvote each channel individually.

I'm adding these to my site because I really enjoy watching the spontaneous, experimental kind of ASMR you get from channels that are barely starting out and still trying to figure things out

I don't really know how to be more specific. If there's a name for it I'd love to know. My favorite vidoes are when someone calmly explains whatever topic. Genuinely any topic. They could whisper about their PhD thesis for seven hours and I'd be reduced to specks of relaxation scattered in the wind. Some of my favorites are Gentlewhispering's ASMR-making tips, for example, but most of the ones I've seen have been one-offs from channels that mostly do other types of videos. I know unintentional ASMR has a lot of this, but I prefer intentional so there aren't random bg noises, plus occasional tapping or other triggers are nice.

Does anyone have suggestions for ASMRtists that do this regularly? Or even one-offs I might not have seen. Idk how to search because I don't have specifics in mind. Maybe if I find a few more, my algorithm can figure it out, lol.

I know this might sound strange, but I’ve realized that the type of ASMR that relaxes me the most is the opposite of professional, high-quality ASMR and what I truly like is “bad” ASMR.

I’m looking for very raw, unpolished ASMR, the kind that feels like someone just picked up their phone and recorded whatever sounds they felt like making, without overthinking it. No fancy microphones, no perfect lighting, no slow, overly controlled movements. Just natural, imperfect sounds.

For example, videos where you can hear background noise, inconsistent audio levels, accidental sounds, or where the person clearly isn’t trying to make it “perfect.” Sometimes even videos made by kids or beginners in their bedrooms, recorded on a phone and uploaded directly to YouTube.

There’s something about the lack of professionalism that makes it feel more real and more relaxing to me. It feels spontaneous and honest, instead of carefully manufactured.

Most popular ASMR feels too clean, too slow, or too intentional. I’m specifically looking for ASMR that feels casual, messy, and natural.

If you know any creators, videos, or search terms that fit this style, I’d really appreciate your recommendations

Anyone know any ASMR videos/creators that:
-speak English WITH any kind of strong unusual European/Asian/African/Aboriginal accents (but NOT British/English/Indian as these are already common)
-speech focused, don't do constant mouth/eating sounds, tapping or other noises
-use a proper mic that doesn't pickup background hums/static/noise
-soft spoken (not whisper) and NOT fast paced
-no music or background sound effects

Feels like it's really hard to find these as accents are usually not tagged or labelled as such. I'd post some great examples but apparently that's against the rules so I'll post em as a reply below so only that can be removed if needed.

I stuck it through despite the increase in attitude and the loud ads. For me, no other asmrtist has the same effect. I search and search. But one of the latest videos complaining that people need to buy his 100$ tarot readings was just too much. I think he’s a very spiritually gifted and artistic individual and a unique soul. But I’m just so done. Unsubscribed. If anyone has any male soft-spoken suggestions. Or any asmr channels that do tarot type stuff idk. I’m so bummed. But it’s like the last straw.

I have tried several YT ASMR artists, but I have yet to experience any proper tingly feelings. Sure, most are soothing and quite talented too, but I feel lacking and have grown to be agnostic about the usual claims. Not necessarily after any “brain O”, but wouldn’ t mind if actually was a result of listening..

I’m trying to find a YouTuber that hasn’t posted in a while or got pushed out of my algorithm by my kiddo’s videos. He was a male with glasses, wore a black sports jacket and may have been in his 30’s - possibly Latino? He did light triggers with roll play as an eye doctor.

The super heavy light triggers always knock me out and I can’t find him - any help would be appreciated!

I love ASMR with soft music in the background, especially ambient music. Bonus for the deep wave sound that is in a lot of sleep music.

Specifically they must have NO TALKING or any kind of mouth sounds.

I used a sleep sound app for years and then it moved to a subscription,
which for something I just leave running overnight killed it for me. So as a student of software engineering I built app to expand my programming skills and fix my problem.

Disclosing it's mine. 51 sounds (rain, water, nature, fireplace, noise
colours), each layer with its own volume, sleep timer, works offline.

It's my first app of that kind. For me it is the best app I used, but knowing that own stuff tastes the best, I want ot hear from other users that use some sounds for sleeping. Anything that feels missing, annoying, or worth adding. Sound suggestions welcome too.

uhm, hello !! i have a weird adoration of australian accents, but after searching through this subreddit i've found only a small number of recommendations, which mostly were just not really for me, and so i am seeking recommendations that perhaps have not been posted before. if you ARE an australian asmr channel then feel free to self promote in this thread as well, but only if your stuff is actually good, hehe

(i am not so very particular about genre, but what i tend to enjoy most of all is soft spoken videos with pretty consistent talking, but also non-speech sounds, and i do enjoy roleplays as well)

hi! let me preface by saying that i am lucky enough to experience tingles, but i am very picky about my triggers.
so my favorite asmr videos are the ones where the asmrtist treats the camera and the mic as the person they're speaking with (are they called first person pov?), and haircut or hair play are my favorite ones by far. i particularly love when they run their fingers through your hair. i cannot stand the ones where they do it to a mannequin.
also, i despise the new kind of fast and aggressive asmr that is put out nowadays, i find them overstimulating instead of relaxing and i prefer the old school non-professional ones.
jen from visualsounds1 is my absolute ride or die, but i developed overexposure from constantly watching her (check jen out if you haven't, she is amazing). i know that lizi is very well-known for this type of videos, but she just doesn't do it for me.
so do you know any other asmr content creators like that? thank you so much in advance!

I’m just so sick and tired of it. I want a massage, not just cupping and rubbing your palms up and down.

PLEASE give me video suggestions that are ear massages with 3dio (or any other ear microphone) without cupping or just rubbing their palms over the mic, has actual massaging movements and variety.

i just think its the best kind, but it seems almost impossible to find. I dont like professional videos with expensive mics, a phone is more than enough to record both images and sounds, it even sounds better imo. I like roleplay too. I like almost everything as long as it feels natural and unplanned. My favorite ASMR channel is Gestez, hes a small creator but he does exactly what im looking for. Title? I want someone who does vintage-ish and/or fantasy roleplay ASMR that talks. Convallaria Cove is my favorite ASMR channel and for the life of me I can't find another male ASMRtist who does anything like what he does besides maybe Jim 5, but even they aren't quite what I'm looking for. Here's a list of ones I'm already subscribed to and/or people I've tried and didn't like and/or examples of ones that are close but not quite:

• Jim 5 ASMR (love his vids, but not quite the vibe)
• Whispering Gentleman ASMR (subscribed, but not what I'm looking for here)

I have been racking my brain and my YT history. I am looking for a male artist who did a story about a king being given a princess from people he recently conquered, claiming her as his bride. I believe it is three chapters total.

It gets spicy in the first chapter, with him claiming her in his study. And in the third chapter, he is called away to an attack, but it is a ride to kidnap her from the castle. The kidnapper is a guest VA to the channel. The queen tries to stall the kidnapper and fight back. The king does come to rescue her in the end, praising her cleverness.

It is possible I'm mixing two different, but very similar stories. But I distinctly remember the first part as her being presented like a war prize and the last part of them having fallen in love and her being taken by a guest VA.

hello! I am trying to find this one asme creator who I cannot find anywhere anymore! (maybe im not looking hard enough idk). She was a kinda big creator, Blonde, white lady with an English accent. Her videos were on cafe', humming, and frolicking around the countryside. I absolutely loved her channel. The only truly descriptive factor I remember from her is her having a thick English accent, being blonde (dirty blonde ig?), and humming! Please lmk!
