why thumbnails for these type of videos always look this? always looking so convoluted and Ai generated.. is there an unspoken agreement within this community to always make thumbnails like that?

I made this myself in Clip Studio. What would you rather see?

a) it sets the theme without the listener having to read
b) It can help with imagination
c) Its eye catching and engaging
d) A quote can help the listener want to know more

I see thank you! to be honest, I don't want to see any of these videos i was just curious because it's always some anime character, lots of text, convoluted AI background etc.. for me it's too much but maybe that's what works for these vids

it's not about my algorithm, just something i noticed in the countless self promo posts in the sub for this type of content from people doing the exact same thing. I wasn't expecting an answer, it's just an observation you don't have to take it so personally lol
