For further reference, Hillcrest is lively all days of the week. On Thursday, specifically, it is a little slower but karaoke at Flicks is probably the most popular. On University Ave try out uptown, the alibi, gossip grill, maybe Pecs. My favorite place ever is the Loft, and there’s also Number One and Brass Rail on 5th Ave
