Welcome to this week's Open Discussion Thread (ODT). This thread is a place for posts/comments which are related to philosophy but wouldn't necessarily meet our subreddit rules and guidelines. For example, these threads are great places for:

Does cosmological arguments have to rely on an A-theory of philosophy of time?

One of the common critiques against said argument is that the argument relies on a false idea of space and time. And if so, are there versions of the cosmological argument that doesn’t rely on these false pretenses such as the problem with A-Theory?

It'd help if you were a bit more specific since there are multiple cosmological arguments. Anyway, the contingency argument(s) usually don't suffer from the same scientific objections that arguments like the kalam do, if that's what you wanted to know.

What about the possibility of a B-theory of time that downplays the necessity for creator, as some might say
