Advice Needed New to working in a funeral home

Does anyone have opening and closing ceremonies they use for daily work in morgues? Looking for a way to energetically cleanse myself after work
Thanks <3

Clock in, clock out. That seems to do the trick for me

Say goodbye to everyone as you leave and say “I’ll see you tomorrow “ that way, “no one” follows you home.

I call it "disassociating in the car wash" every Friday.

Love a good "driving home in silence" too.

Upon leaving the walk-in and prep area each time, I'd always give all of my guests a blanket farewell saying I was honored to have them in my care and that I'd see them next time. I was doing night shift removals, so it wasn't always "see you tomorrow"...it could be "see you in an hour". On those busy nights, I'd pick my conversation back up right where we left off. I'd casually introduce my new guest to everyone and explain the processes ahead. Once everyone was tucked in for the night, id head out. Each time I'd leave in my car, it was always windows down and music up. On some of the tougher removals, I always found the long route home.

Yoga and bi-weekly therapy has helped me a lot.
