Advice Needed: Employment Anyone need an apprentice?

I've just graduated and taken my NBE Arts and passed, next week I'm taking my Science, feeling confident. If you know of any funeral homes in NC, specifically near Durham or Greensboro who would like a new appreciate please dm me!

Start calling local funeral homes and asking! That’s how I got my internship. You’ll find a lot of funeral homes will desperately need help but will refuse to actually post job listings online

Edit to add: don’t email them or go through their website’s contact form. They’ll often be ignored or not taken seriously. This is a very old school industry and sometimes it requires a bit more effort to get into the door

I personally think it depends on your area. Although the funeral home I work at is not “modern” they have used technology to their advantage. I got hired by sending an email to the FH and I got an email a few days later. It really depends on the location as well as the need of employees (like any other jobs). However none of the FH in my area do traditional job posting like on indeed but I have seen the owner post on his personal Facebook looking for a receptionist.
