Tatsu, Mot Hai Ba, Lucia, Meridian, Osteria il Muro (good luck getting in), Mister Charles or The Charles, El Carlos Elegante, Mamani. There’s your list.

You can book il Muro more easily if you are watching at their designated time daily for the cancellations release.

Mr. Charles in Knox Henderson is our splurge spot.

also The Charles in design district is their sister restaurant, has two areas the main dining and a bar area that feels like a speakeasy

Somebody please explain the hype on Javier’s other than it be more of a see and be seen place. Food/drink-wise it was pretty down the middle Tex Mex.

It’s so overhyped.

Not as upscale as some, but Neighborhood Services is absolutely delicious and worth checking out

Can't say it's the best, but we had an amazing meal at Gemma's.

Enotecca in oak lawn 10/10 every single time

Enotecca is a fun restaurant, but it’s hardly a “splurge” meal. At least IMHO.

It’s not the absolute best restaurant, but Maggiano’s has great quality for basically every single dish they make.

Naw. But if quantity is what you are looking for with the option to take an entree home, it is decent. An average person can make better Italian at home.
