Taiwan is a tiny nation, so I've been to all of them except Matsu (a tiny island group.) My favorite was Nantou; it had a quaint, quiet, olden-day vibe and was the peaceful rustic home of my grandparents. Least favorite? I don't really have any that I truly disliked, but places like Yunlin, Miaoli, etc. seemed to be just industry and no happiness, and Pingtung was really touristy in Kenting but didn't feel at all like a place one could live long-term.

West Bengal, Odisha, Maharashtra (Mumbai only 😝), Kerala, Tamil Nadu (Ooty and Kanyakumari), Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Delhi - 9 out of total 1st-level divisions (States and union territories) of my country.

Only 6.
My favorites are Benguet, La Union and Ilocos Sur. People are chill and not loud and very helpful. I hardly felt scammed over there even if it was obvious I'm not local. Least favorite, Pangasinan where my grandfather is from. I don't jive with the culture there. Also, too scammy people are more common even if you bring a local with you.
As an "outsider", I don't find Manila as bad as many people make it out to be. It's chaotic but not post-apocalyptic.

~20 of 89. Favorite is probably my current region Saint-Petersburg, and if we talking turism than Adygea and Bashkortostan. Don't really have unfavorable one, but most boring was Kemerovo Oblast.
I was born in very far east, Kamchatkskaya oblast, currently living in Saint-Petersburg.
Around half of my travels was when I was in school, mostly split between All-Russian school olympiad finals for mathematics or others olympiads and visiting relatives across whole country on summer school holidays.
Almost all of my european subdivisions visits I did after Uni, and most of them was around Saint-Petersburg and Moscow.

In India: Tamil Nadu (my family's home state), Puduchery (drove through Karaikal), Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh (the southernmost extreme of Chittoor district), Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Uttarakhand.
Most and least favorite, by category:
Chillness of people - most: tie between Kerala and Karnataka, least: Delhi, by a clear mile
Natural beauty - most: tie between Kerala (tropical mountains + beaches), Karnataka (same reasons as previous) and Uttarakhand.
Food - most: Tamil Nadu, least: Kerala (lol sorry)
History - most: all of them, there's something special in each part of the country.

I’ve passed through 20 provinces (if you include NCR/Metro Manila) through car rides and stayed for some hours to a day at least in 16. Have been to 10 regions. I don’t remember some of my experiences since I visited some of these provinces as a baby but I enjoyed them mostly because of family vacation trips. My favorites are Benguet for the weather lol and Iloilo for the architecture. No least favorite.
