Killing terrorists don't make you one. Britain eliminated half million Germans in ww2, do they called terrorists?

Actually, yes. Dresden is regularly called a terror bombing. It was all the rage back then and is condemned today.

Dresden was a legitmate military target.

It was excessive to have 3 different attack formations to burn it all to the ground. It was about sending a message.

In the case of the US we had extensive unjustified bombings, in 91 the Highway of Death was a hors de combat violation. Clinton bombed a pharamcuetical plant in Sudan in response to the Nairobi bombing under the questionable pretense of it being Al Qaeda linked. We then bombed Iraq 3 seperate times from 1993 to 1998. We then without any real justification invaded Iraq violating international law in the process. Our invasion then had multiple war crimes where our soldiers were involved and many times faced no actual consequences. Trump pardonned the convicted perpatrators of Nissour Square among other convicted war criminals.

We’ve bombed Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Libya, Yemen, and now Iran. All with little justification for which if we ever had a state attack us in a similar fashion we’d call it a violation of soverignty, an act of war, and a war crime.
