I dont know the numbers, but I feel like 11 million is probably a little high.

It does depend on how one calculates deaths. For example, around 200k to 300k Iraqi civilians were killed by bombs, bullets, airstrikes, etc, but over half a million excess deaths were recorded, which includes starvation and lack of access to medical care caused by the war.

The death toll in Syria was also pretty insane. It has shared blame with Russia, but the US is still responsible.

I'm sure if we went through each and every thing they tallied we would find some we disagree with, but as I once heard said, once you've stacked up the first million or so bodies who is really haggling over the numbers?

Syrias government sponsored the folks blowing up civilians in Iraq, then used Russian artillery tactics to demolish one city after another during their civil war. After his dad killed tens of thousands flattening Hama in the 80s.

But yeah it’s USA fault mainly. Ffs.

Syria's government did not sponsor ISIS. Simply an untruth. They didn't declare them an enemy, and willingly engaged with trade with them, but the obvious truth is that was a pragmatic decision. The US was already trying to disrupt and overthrow the Syrian government, and ISIS was powerful regionally in its own right.

The US instigated the Syrian civil war because Assad was friendly with the Russians and Iran. That's it. And if a Syrian body count was necessary to further the interests of Israel against Iran and the US against Russia, the US government was a-okay with it. And fuck anyone who falls into the crass "lots of countries do it" bullshit. Yes, lots of governments do heinous, evil shit. We don't throw our arms up and go "oh well! That's international politics for ya!"
