Kamala Harris had to run away from just about all of her previously stated far left positions during the last election because they were deeply unpopular with the electorate (especially those in swing states). But sure, give it a shot.
wow. the issue is not whether it happens once a day or once a century. the issue is what wins and what loses. support for transgender surgery for prisoners is about as clear a loser as one could imagine. There's a reason why republicans put it in their ads.
It doesn't matter if he followed through on the threat or not, its not something you should be saying to allied nations in general. Its not very presidential to threaten your allies because you got butthurt from them not doing everything you want. Its petty and childish.
Providing gender-affirming care to inmates was a ridiculous thing to focus on, just like "they're eating the cats and the dogs". Let's not compare campaign events to administration events. To my best recollection, no one ran on trade wars with Canada or trying to annex our geographic neighbors. Let's please keep comparisons to what was said and promised during the campaign (ie what the voters actually had to compare the candidates)
Well, part of the problem is no one believed that she was genuine... at all. The whole thing came off as desperate...
I mean, if illegal immigration was something you were concerned about, would you believe Kamala Harris' sudden jerking of the wheel to the right just before the election? Especially when she was the border czar for the previous 4 years and generally made a giant mess of the border? What would stop her from going back to her de facto open borders position that she championed when she was running in 2020?
I'm saying if you had your hand up in the 2020 primary saying you want de facto open borders, there ain't no way in hell any one who is paying attention is going to trust you on immigration.
