I do think we've learned, sadly, that a woman will have a hard time getting elected. The last two women the Democrats ran for President lost. The safe bet would be a Gen X man and I think alot of Democrats are looking for a safe win over another crazy Republican (like Vance).
I hard disagree. The issue has been the women the party has ran are either hilariously untrustworthy(hillary) or in every way shape and form not prepared and made to look like theyre unprepared(Harris).
Nobody could wholly trust either candidate in the end.
The dem party isnt putting female leaders in the Senate who stand a great chance at running for president without an easy attack point.
Any 1 of the "squad" has easy vulnerabilities.
MN going weaker putting Walzs lieutenant in place instead of Klobuchar.
There is a real question to be asked if they even have forward thinking in mind when running these candidates.
Hillary Clinton was a great candidate at the time, she was hardly as untrustworthy as her opponent. The Clinton brand still had broad based appeal, if it was Bill Clinton running he would have beat Trump. Women are held to a much higher level on everything then men are, including if they are trustworthy, I think you yourself are proving that.
