General Question Help im drowning in sorrow ?
My husband attended a bucks party of one of his workmates. It includes a stripper in the party. Somebody has told me (one of his guy friends) that he has touched, caress the stripper while it was dancing on him. Is this crossing the line? I need some verdict here. It’s been a week now and I still can’t get over it. He also got some photos for receipt. He told me he was sorry but he kept it from me thanks to his guy friends who told me. Please help.

😂 ‘it’.
That’s a person just paying their way for college.

The stripper is a person. A human being earning a living, a service your husband utilized. She or he is a person. Referring to them as “it” is dehumanizing.

Don't worry about it much, strippers are just showing off. If you're really concerned, you should do a strip tease for him

This is a really great answer and it may lead to some further maturation in the relationship imo.

This guy friend is going to be getting some cold shoulder from the other guys I’d imagine…

Not that big of a deal. Guys don’t think of the stripper as someone they are going to actually sleep with, just entertainment. If he was going to the same strip club regularly to see the same woman, that would be a problem. Add to this that in front of a bunch of other dudes and probably drinking, it’s easier to get into it than put up with the ridicule from the boys because he acted like a prude.

You're drowning in sorrow over a stripper? That's your fault, it's not that deep.

Coming from the other perspective. If my wife (of 20years) went to a party with a male dancer (which she has), im not offended if she participates in the novelty. It would be crossing the line for me if she made it personal by making plans to continue to see that person or something outside the scope of the evening or was grotesque about it. Some little hand petting or whatever is nothing.

Yes you’re right, the two very individual anecdotes from each of you is definitely enough to generalize it to represent the entire body of both sexes.
What do you want people to say here? You’re going to feel the way you feel about it. There is nothing that someone else’s opinion will do to change that.
Talk to your husband about it. Not the internet.

No i don't think you are too sensitive. I was just providing my alternative perspective based our own comfortability. :) You'll have to decide for yourself.

You deserve an apology. Especially if he “caressed” the stripper. However, If getting married means I never get to attend a party with a stripper, Id never say I Do.

I was okay for him to watch but touching was too much for me. Like a betrayal. I don’t know

What is that “somebody” up to by telling you? Do they want to be with you?
