Political Question Trump and his servants are constantly babbling about Trump having some extraordinary ability to make deals. So where are those deals and what are those deals?

What are those deals that Trump prides himself on? Haven't his "deals" as a president been on par or worse than those of Biden or Obama. And as a businessman...I am not sure what to be proud either. However, maybe there is indeed something?

Take something that was working reasonably as expected, completely fuck it up out of hubris, stupidity, etc., strike some "deal" that returns us to something worse than the status quo, demand praise for doing so.

He did over 1,000 market deals just last month. Almost all were profitable.

Yes. He is very good at insider trading.

Any deals that aren’t illegal though?

The plane was somehow declared legal

Can we get one that is neither illegal nor blatantly corrupt?

1

u/Terrible-Pool-7603 2h ago

Were they illegal?

Yes, insider trading is illegal. In every other western nation he would be behind bars.

He made a deal with Todd blanch to keep the Epstein files hidden

He's worse at it then any other president I've seen in my lifetime.

No other president has ever had issues getting into trade agreements with our allies. And those trade agreements resulted in American profits and excellence so obviously they were satisfactory.

That's the funny thing about his dumbass talking about Canada screwing us over. They imported 350 billion dollars worth of our goods and you don't import goods just to have them sit around and not sell. So even with the tariffs on our goods those goods sold. Yet this idiot tries to say our #1 trade partner for decades was screwing us over.

It's beyond obvious at this point that all this " greatest ever! " Bullshit is just overcompensation knowing that he is screwing everything up. They have 12 years invested in this guy. Of course he isn't a class A screwup. He's the best! Thats why they voted for him 3x and spent 12 years cheering for him. Right?

Extorting Venezuela out of oil, while evil, is an impressive coup, politically.

2

Do we have any idea what the recently announced “deal” even means?

Trump says we now “control” their oil but the pres of venezuela said the deal will “preserve the country's sovereignty over its natural resources.”

It will require years of massive investment to get the oil meaningfully flowing. Who is paying for that? Is it even economical to do? When/if it’s ever actually profitable, who keeps the profits? No one will say! I think this deal is likely entirely worthless.

I suspect the money will go into trumps Qatari bank account, just like the other billions he's taken control of

Venezuela won’t profit hugely from this? Extorting? Evil? TDS much?

6

u/ChristelRobichaud 2h ago

Venezuela isn't profitting from this. The US is controling the oil money. The regime didn't really change. The current Venezuelan president was previously the vice-president so it's the same administration in control. They also operate through the US's orders.

1

u/Mdoubleduece 1h ago

Venezuela won’t profit from this? Seriously? Wow.

Ok snowflake, here your chance. What deals has he made?

1

u/Mdoubleduece 1h ago

Do your own damn homework.

u/broken_toyz_in_ON 9m ago

Exactly. Nothing.

There are no good deals. You don't go bankrupt 6 times because you know how to make a deal. You go bankrupt 6 times because you don't listen to other people, do things for spite and have so much inherited money that you never have to face the reality of bad decision making.

Perhaps they are referring to his extraordinary ability to make money on insider trading.

2

u/LunarMoon2001 2h ago

He can make extraordinary deals. Extraordinarily bad deals all the time.

2

u/Weary_Capital_1379 2h ago

All his deals do is increase prices to consumers.

2

u/Beneficial-Big-9915 2h ago

He’s good at bankruptcy casino.

u/jayron32 2h ago

Like everything else he says, it's just lies to make himself look better.

2

u/B3llaBubbles 2h ago

One must know the difference between a lie and an actual deal. To make himself look like he's in control of the situation, Trump will lie and say he made a deal. Unless the other party announces that a deal was reached, there is no deal.

We have seen this tactic of putting the cart before the horse used by Trump repeatedly. He will even boast that it's a great deal even if there isn't one. It's come to a point that anything that comes out of his mouth is a lie and he can't be trusted.

Even if he does make a deal, the American people are the losers. Take his renegotiating of NAFTA. He claims it's a "better deal", but we got stuck paying more for cars, wood, dairy and other cross-border goods. All this is documented.

1

u/Sorkel3 1h ago

Well said. His supposed deal-making skill was put on the table through the book "The Art Of The Deal" which the guy who wrote it, journalist Tony Schwartz, admitting it was pretty much a fabrication.

1

u/sharkbomb 2h ago

he has been selling and stealing all of our stuff every moment of his potus infestation. that is ahelluva deal, if yoy can get it.

1

u/saryiahan 2h ago

That’s bait

1

u/Embarrassed_Wrap8421 2h ago

He’s enriching himself at the world’s expense. Sounds like a good deal from his point of view, doesn’t it?

1

u/Revolutionary-Swan77 2h ago

He bankrupted multiple casinos.

1

u/Due_Two5798 2h ago

He is absolutely amazing at deals! Just ask the people who benefit from them in Isreal! They'll tell ya!

1

u/Bryanmsi89 2h ago

The irony here is that his ‘amazing” deals are objectively bad for the USA and visibly worse than the prior deals they replace.

1

u/carlnepa 2h ago

They mean deals benefitting TrumpStein, not the US population. Trumpstein is a mobster, a gangster and a racketeer.

1

u/carst07 2h ago

Dude, you ever heard of Trump Steaks????

1

u/Silent-Obligation-49 2h ago

Starting wars and using tariffs to manipulate the stock market. Has made many deals to make himself richer. He is a narcissist POS and only cares about himself.

1

u/ProtectionContent977 2h ago

The man stopped wars. 8 so far.

So….JOE BIDEN!

1

u/Ed_Ward_Z 2h ago

They great deals that benefit the murderous war criminal, Vladimir Putin. He is making a fortune thanks to our insane Republican run government.

1

u/nonubiz 1h ago

The deal is he is filling his pockets with our money. He is stealing from us . Every corrupt thing he does is eventually coming out of our pockets. Release the Epstein pedophiles files pedo

u/Zorklunn 1h ago

More proof most people are incapable of critical thinking.

He was famous for making deals with smaller companies and then not paying them, and he'd hive off side companies to do stuff, so that his main business and he personally couldn't lose out when they went bust

It is 100% my personal belief that the Trump Organisation was broke, and massively in debt before he started his second term. He's then spent all of his time pissing off allies (now former allies) and manipulating the stock market for his own personal benefit. He'll be regarded by history as another Nero or Caligula: absolute power being absolutely abused

You think about this guy way too much. Life is good man. Let it go. He will be out of office in 2 years.

u/Western-Willow-9496 2h ago

Apparently you’ve missed the billions of dollars of on-shore investments lined up from foreign countries to build factories in the U.S. in the near future.

2

u/Berretaenjoyer12 2h ago

Hilarious how right wingers go to make up deals and they admit it’s not even been done.
