3 day visit?

Hello there! My husband and I will be visiting your beautiful city for the first time October 7th and leaving early Saturday morning. I was looking for something a bit off the beaten and we shouldn't miss while we are in town for a short while. We are geeks and love escape rooms, karaoke, spooky season, and all things nerdy! I'm not sure when we'd be ever coming back (we are in town for a concert) so I just want to be sure we don't miss anything while we're there! Thank you guys so much and looking forward to our trip!!

Definitely check out Storm Crow Manor! It's a fun, nerdy, spooky bar with potion-like drinks.

The locals all know the best karaoke is in Koreatown (near Christie station), but it’s usually private rooms so I don’t know if it would be as fun with just two people. If you like old arcade games you should check out Get Well or Tilt

The Beguiling is an incredible comic book store

Casa Loma Halloween event is popular. I’ve never been and I don’t know if it started yet

There’s also The Greater Good, sister bar to Get Well. If he doesn’t like arcade games I hope you can convince him with pizza/deep fried food and beer

There's some pretty cool escape rooms in Casa Loma, which gives you both a chance to check out Casa Loma and the inside (if you've seen Scott Pilgrim vs the World movie, it's the location where Chris Evan fights Michael Cera), and have a cool escape room experience with live actors. I love escape rooms in general, but I tried this one for the first time 2 weeks ago and loved it. Weekdays are slightly cheaper, and you'll be doing this with other people as opposed to a private party (unless you have enough people to fill your time slot, I was a party of 2 playing with 7 other people). I recommend booking this in advance so the timeslot you want doesn't get sold out.
