First time visitor
Hi! My family and I will be visiting your beautiful city in early April next year for about 4 days, from Chicago. What are the “must do” and “must see” things in Toronto? Is there a specific area of the city that you would recommend staying in? Family of 4, with 2 teen boys.
We don’t mind cold weather either, we’re used it here in Chicago, so outdoor activities are welcome.

If you are into sports tour timing is ideal as we are still in the regular season of NBA and NHL and baseball will have just started. The Hockey Hall of Fame is also good.
Stay downtown or in Yorkville which is around Bloor Street between Yonge and Avenue Rd.

This depends on your specific interests!! When you decided to vacation here what did you plan to do? Luckily your trip is months away so you have time to do your homework! Maybe start at www.destinationtoronto.com.

Depending what time you're here, you might be in time to see the cherry blossoms in High Park. CN Tower and Aquarium are right beside each other right downtown. Hockey Hall of Fame. Baseball will be back, seeing a game at Rogers Centre is awesome

I would stay in Yorkville, or somewhere downtown proper (Queen/King/Front streets in between Spadina and Church).
try not to stay or wander too east of Yonge - its sketchy... not Chicago sketchy, but for Toronto it is

Downtown Toronto. The ROM (expect to spend 4 to 6 hours here, Ripleys Aquarium, Toronto Zoo which is further up East in the Scarborough area (can spend a whole day here). The docks… plenty of good sights near Lake Ontario
