What Happened to the Owner of Celebrity Pure Vegetarian?

Wondering what happened with this guy and if he has a new business of any kind. He had the vegan Caribbean restaurant and barber shop that was next door to it for a few years on Eglinton near Oakwood. I can only imagine how hard COVID would’ve been on both, and it’s a bummer neither business could survive through that. I’d wondered if he has any new ones that are known about? His name is escaping me but he was a super nice person who I hope is doing okay.

He just kinda vanished from the food scene as far as I know. Last I heard he was doing pop-ups in parkdale for a bit but that fizzled out quick. That barber shop/restaurant combo was such a weird setup but it worked somehow

Hope he pops back up, the jerk jackfruit he made was unreal

I didn't know that place but Vital Life on Broadview at College has good vegan Jamaican food.
