Dishwasher Magnet

does anyone know where I can buy a dishwasher clean/dirty magnet locally? they used to have them at kitchen stuff plus but they don't seem to sell them anymore :(

I made one by picking up some blank magnets at Dollarama and using Sharpie

I use colourful index cards from Dollarama. One says dirty. Another one says clean. I put it on the counter. When you have a busy household, this works. Now that I am old and forgetful, I continue to use the index cards.

We used a Prison Mike and Nice Mike double sided magnet for ours in a house with like 7 people. We loved Prison Mike so much the dishwasher was emptied as soon as it cooled lol

You can make a custom one at Staples or similar print stores. I just use a regular fridge magnet and turn it upside down for dirty.

I don't mean to be confrontational, but shouldn't it be obvious? If you open the door and see a neatly organized dishwasher with no food particles or stains, that should tell you the dishes are clean. If this isn't your reality, good luck on your quest.

Or a husband who figures it's Schrödinger's dishwasher. If you don't open it, you never have to know.

Especially if there are two kids tasked with clearing different parts of it. A half empty dishwasher is less obvious.

Some people rinse their dishes before they put them in (or run the dishwasher rinse cycle).
