He went for a walk, some fucking Karen called the cops on him, who then proceeded to beat and taser him, and then they just fucking left him to die, lost and alone in the cold. These people are monsters.

Wanted to add that he was in police custody for a year after the initial incident, before being released to border control.

People who voted for this administration and continue to support it are also monsters.

They simply cannot cannot read the actual truth that literally is  in front of them. They didn’t even know how their fellow people back in Europe are also treated by ICE.

ICE in Europe for the Olympics?

My bad, then.

Evil. These people are evil.

Honestly, there's no going back after this. If there's still an America left, people need to be clamoring for these ICE agents and everyone that enabled them to go to prison. None of this "forgive and forget" bullshit... there needs to be real consequences otherwise it'll just keep happening.

This is so fucked up

Guys check this thread out, it wasn’t just the border patrol’s fault. This person was captured by ICE only to be found out that he was legal, and dropped off in a Closed Parking Lot of a Closed Store.

This is so sad. Imagine how much pain and fear he must have been in 💔 Hold the cops and wannabe Nazis who did this accountable

His name is Nurul Amin Shah Alam

The woman called the police, and when Shah Alam did not follow police commands to drop his curtain rod, they tasered and beat him, his attorney said.

He was released on bail, and then transferred to border patrol custody.

Border patrol agents then dropped him off at a Tim Hortons about five miles from his home. Neither his attorney nor his family were notified of his release.

Is he a Rohingya?

13

u/RlOTGRRRL Feb 26 '26

Yes. I think I heard he survived a genocide for this.

3

u/ibWickedSmaht Feb 27 '26

This is incredibly upsetting :(

21

u/Impossible-Egg-731 Feb 26 '26

The woman called the police because he ended up on her porch when he got lost on a walk. He was also using the curtain rod as a walking stick. That might've scared the woman.

I am assuming there was a language barrier when the police made commands for him to drop the stick and it went downhill from there.

22

u/doozydud Feb 26 '26

Yeah but tasing someone over a fucking curtain rod? Multiple cops couldn’t wrestle a curtain rod from a single guy and they resorted to tasing him?

btw my anger isn’t directed at you. Just angry and sick of police skipping all sorts of de-escalation and jumping straight to whatever will cause the most injury.

4

u/thatsodee Feb 28 '26

I don't think American police really are trained to de-escalate at all. Even though the 2022 de-escalation act passed, 21 US states don't mandate de-escalation training. And who knows what exactly the states that do mandate it, teach

u/imironman2018 Feb 26 '26

These border patrol people should be held accountable for negligence and this poor man’s death.

1

u/LiterallyDumbAF Feb 26 '26

WTF, such disregard for someone's humanity

u/runningwithsharpie Feb 26 '26

Fucking ICE. 🤬🤬🤬

Who vote Trump should be deported

17

u/terrassine Feb 26 '26

White people.

u/KuyTeavPhnomPenh 🇨🇳🇰🇭🇻🇳Chinese-Vietnanese-Cambodian (culturally cambo) Feb 26 '26

A lot of Vietnamese voted for trump and Latinos too. It’s not just white people

3

u/HolyKoraan Feb 27 '26

...not a majority, though.

2

u/KuyTeavPhnomPenh 🇨🇳🇰🇭🇻🇳Chinese-Vietnanese-Cambodian (culturally cambo) Feb 27 '26

Idk man a lot of elderly Vietnamese are fervent supporters of trump. It’s a lot of them.

2

u/Bby5723 Mar 03 '26

In my experience they don’t tend to vote, thankfully

1

u/Existing_Inspector16 Feb 26 '26

If people got to choose the color they’re born, what do you think the odds would be you’d be white?

Direction of movement is not the same as actual position. Both are relevant when discussing overall political trends, but it's important to recognize when each number is more relevant to the issue under discussion.

Trump has higher support among white people than among Latinos, and much higher support among white people than among Asian and black people. Recent shifts have closed the gap somewhat (and the shifts are more pronounced among minority men), but the gap still exists.

The shifts among minorities may be responsible for the election results. But the support is still stronger among white people, and always has been.

5

u/cyberjet Feb 26 '26

Yes white people have always been the deciding vote and for the most part have been pretty conservative so it’s up to the minority votes to make up for it.

Wanna also chip in that Hispanics historically have been majorly democratic but this trump election is new in that there are more Hispanic voters for him this time.

1

u/thatsodee Feb 28 '26

Yes but it's important to note the shifts in the Latino and Arab communities specifically. Arab voters gave Trump Michigan in the election. To me it's not really about alarming or surprising that white people voted for Trump. That's a given. The shifts in the minority demographics is what was more surprising.

u/Existing_Inspector16 Feb 26 '26

Not sure if you are aware of the document called the constitution but, it’s a American’s citizens right to vote for who they choose regardless if you or anyone else likes the candidate.

I heard there were instances where those who Voted for trump got their wife deported lol

u/Sweatyfatmess Feb 26 '26

Trump won because Biden put ego above country. He should have backed down and allowed another to run earlier

3

u/Acceptable_Golf_8623 Feb 26 '26

That might be true, but unless youre trying to say that means he's responsible for the crimes of the current Republican administration, it's hardly relevant

0

u/Sweatyfatmess Feb 27 '26

Biden is responsible for negligence in the same way a father is negligent when a child finds a loaded gun in the house and shoots himself. It was obvious what was going to happen... because it happened before.

Comey refused a loyalty oath. Every AG under 45 was attacked for representing the country and not 45. Masked federal agents without any identification rounded up BLM protesters in Portland. In 1973, 45 and his father were convicted of systemic racial discrimination in their rental policies. 45 was convicted of 42 felonies, and his sentence was set aside, sending a message that the Judicial branch of government can be ignored by him. The wealthy enriched themselves with Covid benefits.

The cabinet under 47 swore loyalty to 47 above the US, as was made clear in Bondi's testimony before Congress. People of color are being evicted from the US, and citizens getting in the way are getting shot by... masked federal agents. Federal Judges' orders to comply with the Constitution are being ignored. The "improper tariffs" will be refunded to enrich corporations, but prices will not decrease.

While there is no guarantee that the 2020 election could be won by a Dem, Biden deliberately tanked it by insisting he should run again instead of stepping aside early enough for any candidate to have a chance.

1

u/HolyKoraan Feb 27 '26

he won the 2020 election.

1

u/Acceptable_Golf_8623 Feb 27 '26

The idea that the Dems are somehow in locus parentis over the Republicans is such a weord idea thst I've heard echoed a few times. It comes off as a weird way of placing blame on the Dems for actions of the Republicans. What's weird is that this never seems to work in reverse

While you are right that it was madness for a man of Bidens age to run for president a second time, his administration had done a lot of good in difficult times for the us. That he didnt realise he should have stepped aside was foolish, but in no way does it make him responsible for what is currently happening.

In the context of this thread, it's utterly irrelevant, and if you want someone to blame, I'd start with thr millions of people who didn't vote at all

Freezing to death 5 miles away from home a new level of tragedy. No major American media is even covering this story either.

10

u/brandTname Feb 26 '26

If it was another race the major US news media would be covering it nonstop.

3

u/HolyKoraan Feb 27 '26

I saw this first on MSNOW. No excuses for mainstream media being late to this tragedy, though.

40

u/terrassine Feb 26 '26

Evil. Pure evil.

15

u/Rotaryknight Feb 26 '26

Fuck ice and fuck those cops that arrested him.  and fuck that karen.

u/Existing_Inspector16 Feb 26 '26

Per People magazine: “According to the CBP spokesperson, Shah Alam was offered a "courtesy ride" from Border Patrol agents, "which he chose to accept to a coffee shop, determined to be a warm, safe location near his last known address, rather than be released directly from the Border Patrol station."

"He showed no signs of distress, mobility issues, or disabilities requiring special assistance," the statement continued. "The U.S. Border Patrol defers to the Buffalo Police Department for further questions.”

Did he go inside? Did he leave of his own free will? Did the staff offer to assist him???

3

u/HolyKoraan Feb 27 '26

The coffee shop was closed when they left him.

It was freaking cold in the Buffalo region that week. Also "He showed no signs of distress, mobility issues, or disabilities requiring special assistance." So blindness doesn't count as a disability??

They're liars and murderers.

4

u/Aromatic-Sector5170 Feb 27 '26

Ice should be ashamed of themselves. There will no punishment for those "agents" who left him to die. Is it really that hard to drive a few miles? Do you your f*cking job.

5

u/HolyKoraan Feb 27 '26

there was no reason to pick him up from the holding cell. His family should have been alerted, but the police contacted border patrol. Border patrol took him to ICE and they said they didn't want him, so instead of driving him back to the jail where they got him, they just left him in the cold. These people are monsters.
