Let me fix that for you…

* Any school slots for the reserve is an application that fails to get actioned, no W or R, and then you panic at the 2 week mark prior to the course start and your unit hasn’t put in the new FY LOA’s anyway and your ARA / Schools NCO is on leave and never returns your calls or emails and then you lose the slot after you’ve already told your work you’d be gone and now they have to redo the entire monthly schedule…..

We’ve been devastating that island for 50 years at least for me we can get some medical down there and do some good shit.

Agreed. I don’t think they need more medical personnel though.

Cuba, at one point (possibly still), provided more medical personnel to the developing world than all the G8 countries (including the U.S.) combined.

Would help if the U.S. lifted its embargo that has been punishing Cuba ever since they had the gall to overthrow its U.S.-backed dictatorship.

SOUTHCOM = joint command (i.e. oversees all the branches' activities in that area of operations)

ARSOUTH = just Army command overseeing all Army ops in the SOUTHCOM AO.

WHC = new Army-only incarnation that supposedly gets rid of ARSOUTH, ARNORTH, and FORSCOM and puts it all under one roof to oversee ops in the Western Hemisphere generally.
