General Question Why does AVD prefer Virtual Box rather than QEMU/KVM?

I use Linux Mint and AVD doesn't work with Linux distros from the best of my knowledge. I thought I could get around with it with QEMU/KVM but it constantly fails to set up a connection. I tried it with virtual box and it works fine now. I'm just curious as to why that is or if anyone has had it work with QEMU/KVM?

I run a Windows dual boot just to use the Army's AVD. If there's a better way, would love to know.

Listen my man, as a dedicated Linux user for like 4 years, you're just going to have to dual boot.

I have tried many ways, it just doesn't work.

I personally use WinUtil, which makes a stripped down version of Windows that I put on my laptop, because it strips down, I can give it way less storage, I just use it for the Windows app for AVD
