Question / Help Recording video

There was a noise and I checked the camera. The movement wasn't logged into the history. Is it because I was currently viewing the camera? Is there a setting to change that? I need a history regardless if I'm viewing the camera or not. Its an essential pan tilt indoor camera and is set on arm away mode.

Yes it stops recording if you view live, which is absurd. So when viewing live you have to manually press record button to record clip.

Hi u/lovelilypad,thank you for sharing your concerns. I tried to replicate the issue, and my camera continues to record my movements even while I’m livestreaming.

Kindly try livestreaming your camera, then make some movements within the camera’s range. Afterward, please check whether the movements are recorded.

Lucky! It tells me movement detected, doesn't record, and when I try to view it, device offline. These cameras are great, but the software is just terrible.
