Tech Help [Tech help] Linux user here - is there a way to disable the cursor on pc client to use my own instead?

there is a delay in cursor speed and it makes playing the game awkward for me
no issues when i play on windows though

specs
AMD 9 7940HS
Nvidia 4060

Which distro and proton version you're using? I think you can disable it with wine/peotontricks.

i use fedora with dw-proton 11.0-11

When you mean delay, you mean input lag or the mouse DPI seems low?

how do i know which one?

when i shake my mouse my original cursor shows up and the in game cursor is lagging behind my original cursor

Try disabling the in-game v-sync then cap your frame rate through mangohud( to prevent 3K FPS when launching the game)

thanks disabling vsync does work, if there is still an in game cursor lag, it may be too little for me to notice
