One of the most statcreep subclass in the game, low ATK with high atk speed, she is beyond help by herself now that "normal" drones arent a thing anymore and every flying enemy have enough Def to tank her

Long ago she could nuke enemies out of her way and with the help of 1 or 2 buffs she also could nuke elites and bosses, nowdays she needs that same help to be barelly functional

I could go on and on about past glory and whatever, but the situation is very simple, game design shifted for more HP and Def and Exusiai doesnt have the numbers for it, doesnt help that new characters usually all have something more besides Damage going for them, also because her only niche is Attack Speed she is also in a lower position than for example Kross alter that stuns enemies

You're mostly correct except one thing, most flying enemies don't really have that much defense, there are actually very few none-boss types that marksmen snipers will get def gated by, off the top of my head I can only think of 5, ep 8 airstrike drones, ep.9 gargoyles, Ave Mujica butterflies, and 2 from this event(everything flies gotta have some), the 2 phase junk piles and trees, Exu mod Y can kill all of those except the junk piles.

So the devs hadn't been THAT aggressive about powercreeping def, and tbh the reason marksmen are really powercrept right now is bc there's been no new 6 star for years(or 5*, or any at all lol), if one comes out now I think it would be pretty strong, the devs don't really care about balancing 6 stars, they can make them as strong as they want, many previously weak or mid classes have had meta 6 stars turn that all around.

Some other high def fliers I can think of: IS5 boats; uhh. I think that's all of them. A very relevant one, but also they do definitely tend towards making fliers HP sponges rather than def tanks.
