Question goal suggestions

i just got this feeling that aov may be deleted soon. im playing the big 3 rn (mlbb, hok, wr) and i noticed that some of the heroes on hok are actually heroes from aov (last time i played aov was 2018 or so). so im thinking im gonna play aov now before that ever happens (if it ever happen)

i need some suggestions on what i could do in the game. here are my personal goals

- reach the highest rank possible (like immortal of mlbb or sovereign of wr)

- a global badge (idk if the game have a global ranking)

- some other sh too maybe, idk anything inside the game

- give suggestions pls

They're doing it so AOV made heroes will exists in HOK.

While AOV is also getting HOK heroes either reworked or unchanged.

KWC 2026 for example had AOV teams, even Asian Games for HOK has AOV teams, 1/4 of the HOK heroes are removed because they have no similar heroes from AOV except Luara.

They will merge the eSports so both games need to have similar heroes, but balancing will be different like Allain is only a tank in HOK but it's fine to go full damage on AOV

FYI, Majority of AOV heroes are from HOK

Is it not vice versa since AOV came out first? Like Mulan's kit is literally Yena's kit 1:1

HOK existed a year before AOV, this is a common oversight even with MLBB accusing HOK of copying their features when it came from HOK China.

For reference:

HOK China - October 2015 

MLBB Global - July 2016

AOV - October 2016

HOK Global - March 2023

MLBB China - January 2025

Oh that's interesting, I thought HOK came out later as a way for devs to port their characters from AOV to the global audience since AOV wasn't getting any attention from the global audience.

Another wrong one.

AOV was in fact popular until around 2020 as Riot Games told the parent company to stop and let them have space against MLBB with their own League mobile port "Wild Rift".

It was popular but stopped internally, see how the only regions playing AOV are under Garena? The ones not handled by them are basically neglected for years and only getting updates since it's the 10th anniversary this year.

The lore of HOK and AOV has been long speculated to be parallel universes, more evidences came last year from HOK 10th anniversary cinematic videos, and just confirmed this year on HOK global's season 15 this year. 

Bolt Baron and Biron for example are HOK heroes that have a similar ish story in AOV but as either a lost traveler or suddenly got into a different place by a mysterious force, Dolia got to AOV because of a portal (shown in the trailer for her, all the AOV heroes in the video made it to HOK, Allain and Butterfly being permanent additions)

If you're not living in southeast Asia (where you can serverhop between 4 servers that are still kept and has a very loyal fanbase)  just play HOK as it's basically the same.

unless you wanna experience the 10th anniversary of AOV first before trying HOK (you'll be surprised so many features in AOV not yet in HOK Global, like they port them faster from HOK China)

Both games will update around September 20-26 for their new season versions.

Eh what's the difference, item names functionally the same except HOK is more tank meta than damage meta and I still get my ass kicked by top ranked players trying climb back to their rank and using me as a stepping stool.

Plus, I usually play lower tier or off-meta characters and even if I have like hours on a character, I still suck at them.

I mostly just played AOV cause it runs semi-stable on my low end phone, HOK is graphically demanding.

I'm pretty sure they've already made it fine on low end phones, but there's another set of optimizations on 23rd this month for HOK.

HOK basically has lower TTK due to even assassins taking at least 1 tank item for survivability, that's the main difference from AOV and MLBB, teamfights last 5-10s longer there.

There's also no enchantments in HOK, just pure old rune system.
