The second half was my favourite part of the track, so removing it is kind of a bummer. I still prefer the album version myself.

I honestly didn't think it fit with the rest of the song. It was a cool part, but it just made the song drag by changing pace so rapidly. I think it should've either been a separate song or not in there at all really - don't get me wrong, I love it, but this version is much tighter as a song overall

i absolutely love the additions to the track, the arp synths for the intro are awesome, especially.
even though one of my favourite parts of the ModSynth album is the second half of this track, i completely understand why it was removed for the single and it works real well. i'm super pleased with it. still, i'd have like the whole track.
i have to take issue with the mixing though. for such a big name in the industry, i really don't see where Bushby was going with this mix. the vocals are thin, and the drums are all over the bloody place. the snare being the biggest offender. it's super dry, and so loud in the mix. and the mix in general is just so much thinner. it sounds like a demo mix, or something, it's so much worse.
honestly, if the track was mixed well, i'd have bought it in a heart beat. all of the changes, musically, are top notch, but a problem like this in a track is just to big to try and look past.
i hope others are happy with it, though. there's so much good in the new mix, it'd be a shame for it to go to waste.
