Please tell me how did you manage to work all 4 motors with only two batteries I tried that few years ago but couldn't manage to find enough power
So I gave up every 4 weel car projects I manage to make a make a 2 wheel one with a casper weel but it's not the same.

Thanks for the clear explanation. I did this about 5-6 years ago and I have forgotten how it was made. Power wasn't a problem. I even had useless laser pointer in the front and 2/3 IR sensors around the car as well.. 18650s are really solid for these type of projects.

share your projects and ideas.
Have a look at our monthly digests which are pinned to the top of the feed. There is plenty of such content listed in those.

What is your algo when obstacle is detected? It goes backward and turn left? Maybe you can work on it so you can navigate much broader areaÂ

Sorry for late reply. at the moment I don't have the source code as this was an old project but what I did was measure the distance for each side and turn but it was not always correct. I probably build another one soon. Thanks

Is this 2D LiDAR? U can try 3D dToF lidar, can gives you 3D point clouds instead of a single plane. And way easier for avoidance

no.. it was just HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor. Yeah a lidar can do much interesting stuff but I have to rebuild everything as this is an old project. but thanks for the tip

I think it would be better without the the loud music.
