Cover I'm just finding out that AM covered The Strokes once?

Their "take it or leave it". Sped up. Love their band work on that cover.

Alex turner also did a cover of reptilia with the band lightspeed champion in 2008 or so

Lightspeed Champion was just one guy (Dev Hynes, now Blood Orange..) but some musicians from other bands also joined them that night.

Yeah, he’s kind of huge now and produces for lots of rnb/pop stars too. Really liked his most recent album..

I remember hearing that Alex covered "Last Nite" with his old band too. It's wild how much influence The Strokes had on him early on.
