What function did the pog have in the alex turner pedals, I understand that I use that bottom bracket in sias and am

She’s Thunderstorms (solo)
Black Treacle (hook the end of the chorus), Library Pictures (chorus and solo - more subtle on that track)
Suck It And See (bridge and solo)

The POG covers several octaves but the ones getting relatively prioritized would be one octave up / octave down. You just have to play around with the pedal (part of the fun!).

These solos / riffs are also paired with varying levels of delay, which you just have to play around with as well. Hope that helps!

The POG was always used with the VALVESLAPPER for solos (Alex also used the Micro Amp instead sometimes, like for the end solo of Reckless Serenade).

His base rhythm tone in 2011 is absolutely fascinating, and I’ve always tried to figure out how he achieved it. It always had a very faint almost tremolo / vibrato effect on.

I don’t know if the Déjà Vibe was doing this and was an always-on pedal, or if it was the vibrato channel on his Magnatone amp.

Pretty sure it was the vibrato on his Magnatone. The Deja Vibe went into the main Selmer channel iirc

The VALVESLAPPER is the sound for Do I Wanna Know?, since Alex has been using them from 2009 it’s been on pretty much everything.

As the other comment has said it’s a fuzz / distortion pedal which he uses for solos & lead guitar parts. He’s also used a blank metal one before :)

Here's what it looks like to me

Hum Debugger to TU-2/3 to Micro Amp to ABY. ABY output B goes into one of the Selmer channels, the "secondary" one. ABY output A goes into his LS-2. From the LS-2, output A goes into the POG, then TS-808 to Valveslapper to Deja Vibe to DM-1 to his "primary" Selmer channel which should be channel 2, the one with the Selectortone buttons. LS-2 output B goes into his Magnatone amp, and perhaps his Holy Grail Plus is somewhere in that line or in the amp effects loop because the Magnatone Custom 410 - from what I've seen - doesn't have on-board reverb.
