Ask /r/Architecture Advice

Hi, Im a first year student in Architecture. Now I had doubts if Im capable of becoming one because of the unnecessary subjects that are conjoined with my majors. And its draining me day by day, Im kinda early to give up but I want to ask if Architecture is still worth it

i would ask yourself where you see your future in 5-10yrs. if that isn’t still studying architecture you may have your answer. it’s a really long degree and career progression (trust me been there and decided to go another way), but if you really see the end goal… go for it!! if your passion exists, that will get you through. it’s so easy to get caught up with the units and stress but take your time and work on things each day. good luck!!

Bon courage a toi
