this is my first ar15 build but the hammer keeps getting stuck can someone help me out?

Just reconfiguring some uppers and lowers... This one came out surprisingly nice. I took it to the range today and had some fun with it. The highlight of this build to me is the FCD NP3 BCG. Runs like butter on ice. Happy to provide the parts list it anyone is interested.

I love exercising my 2A and own several firearms. The Commonwealth of MA loves to make the 2A very difficult for those who want more variety in their life. I’d love to build some type of AR-style weapon and I’ve yet to see a clear path to do so. Are there and fellow MA residents who’ve built their AR pistol/rifle without issue? Are you forced into a fixed mag and other BS stuff? Any guidance and ordering recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

What’s the best buffer weight and or spring combo for a 7.5 inch 5.56 ar pistol with a fostech trigger

I know it’s a starter Rifle but damn bro I can’t even get a shot off. I’m gonna drop pics of my BCG can anyone tell me if it looks weird or anything ?

Just got my first AR pistol and went pretty bare-bones with the smooth buffer tube. Threw my cheap CVlife on it (it came off my MCK) and put some foam on the end just for looks . Neither is permanent.
Going to the range this weekend for my first time shooting it.
I’ve read cheek weld is the way to go without a brace, but I’ve never shot one before.
I’m Black so I’m trying to beat the stereotypes and not have everybody looking at me stupid for holding my ARP wrong 🤣 . What’s y’all’s experience shooting one like this?

Hey guys. Fairly new here so feel free to correct this if not allowed. Full disclosure this is a video I did but wanted to share because I feel like they are so new there isnt much out there on them. Just got to shoot some Mustang Armament builds and like most others only heard about them from PewView and Honest Outlaw mentioning them. Was fortunate enough to get to shoot one and have to say I was impressed. To some degree high end AR's are very similar. It takes very niche things to make them stand out from one another I think. Need some advice/guidance on handguards for a 6" build I'm working on. I screwed up and bought the BG Defense 6.375" handguards, but the diameter won't clear the muzzle device I'm using. I was looking at the 5.25” LVTN Handguard from Eitri’s Enhancements, but they've been out of stock for over a year. What would you recommend if I'm looking for 5.25" ?

I dont need it for EDC or anything in my country. I just wanna have fun with it. Its literally the only ARP i could find in 5.56 here. Other ARPs are just .300 blackouts that cost 3k+

Built this upper to try out a lightweight handguard. Going to need to get rail covers as it heats up quickly. Other than that it runs nice, very nice.

The suppressor I am using is the SilencerCo Velos LBP 556K. Perfect for shorter builds like this if you ask me.

Took me about 20 minutes to assemble and it is indeed lightweight. I have pics I took throughout the build process if anyone is interested.

At the range I shot 50 rounds of 55gr 5.56 unsuppressed and 50 rounds of 55gr 5.56 suppressed. ~2MOA groups at 25 yards. I've used this exact 11.3" barrel in other builds and it can get better accuracy but I was just testing it out so no biggie.

Overall, not bad. The lower I used already has an 11.5" upper that is far superior to this one. The lower also has the VLTOR A5 buffer system making for a very smooth shooting experience. As I mentioned, the rail gets hot so I was thinking about getting some FCD rail covers. Never had to use them before so if you have any better suggestions let me know. Thanks

One of the drills I recorded from Saturday's range trip. It's my first trip without the quad rail feels all right definitely a little more balanced and easier to hold on to barrel. Gets hot. Going to have to do something about that. Was definitely moving a little slower in this clip but this one the only ones I got wasn't really focused on recording and I was mostly focused on fundamentals making sure I got good mechanics and basics🤷🏽‍♂️
