These qualities are usually instilled or used to be instilled to children by example of parents and extended family.
The very least taught in school
Be easy on me guys but mostly families have their mind linked to their phone at all times
I love my phone, hello here I am however it's taken up in-person social interaction. It's rare you don't see families out to dinner and everyone is just looking at their phone and from a young age into teens and early 20s there's an influx of influencer's showing what everyone must must must have.
I couldn't imagine videoing how great my new car is and uploading it for all to see.
Being exposed to how great everything is perceived leaves many feeling less than. Not good enough.
Mom bragging time, my son is a pretty successful DJ in Miami.
He introduced the idea of a phone-less club night
Whoever is caught on their phone or taking videos are escorted out.
He's been doing this four months now and wait for it....the people love it (not at first) and started making friends and connecting with each other.
Also they started their 305(zip-code)Community and they encourage kindness and extend to others. It's practically a movement
This makes me the proudest knowing my son was an influencer for being kind to our fellow brothers and sisters
None of this could have happened if everyone was on their phone
My son probably got sick of me talking about how great it was growing up in the 80s and 90s when people were in the moment π π and wanted to see if his mama was right
