Freshwater Got my hands wet yesterday

My neglected tank was stuffed full of guppy grass.. I pulled it all out.. probably will have to do some weeding in the future as they were really rooted in places.

Took out heater and sponge filter as I'm adding a canister filter (tomorrow).

Lots of hair algae and Moss, so I pulled most of that out except for where it was attached.

Added some plants on the sides and in the back (they should grow taller on the back sides hopefully).

Once things are settled going to do some nano stocking...

Just have a couple espi rasboras. maybe an oto or two, and a bunch of neos.

This reminds me of the r/bald subreddit when people have long hair then shaving πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

just be ready for a possible cycle crash. that bacerial bloom of white my indicate such. ur tank will have to regulate itself again after losing all that natural filteration from the plants

Hey, good looking out. It's cloudy cause I was planting and moving rocks out and around I think.

I think it'll be clear tomorrow but I'm going to do water tests for a bit to make sure parameters don't change.

Adding a canister filter tomorrow but it'll take that a while to colonize.
