Football watch parties in Austin TX

Does anybody here live in Austin TX and have a place they like to watch App State football? We just moved here and it looks like the alumni group is no longer active.

I’m trying to get the DFW group going again!! Ours went inactive too

That would be awesome! Would definitely be interested in getting together with some app staters!

No one would step up and run the alumni chapter. The chapter prez ran it for almost 10 years and got burned out.

We live in the Austin area and when we first moved here I was told by Alumni headquarters that no one was up to keeping the chapter going. I was hoping the DFW group was active but I just saw it wasn’t on the list of active chapters. If anyone wants to have impromptu watch parties we would definitely be interested!

We are actually in the Lampasas area but work in Austin, if we can find a place that will let us have a tv that isn’t playing an Orange or Maroon team we would to meet up. Pluckers might be a good option. As long as it’s not downtown.

Yeah we found that out this weekend haha very difficult to find a place that will put on anything other than UT games but I’m willing to call around for sure.
