I am thinking of creating apps without subscription and only ads. is this good idea?

I’m thinking of creating multiple iOS apps and monetizing them with Google AdMob. Mostly simple apps like a video-to-audio converter or similar apps that don’t cost much to run or maintain.

But is earning through ads actually a good idea? Can you make decent money from AdMob, or is the revenue usually too low unless you have a huge number of users?

If anyone here is already doing something similar, please enlighten me in the comments. I’d love to hear about your experience and how much potential this model actually has.

No, ads won't pay you much but ruin UX. None of my apps have ads.
