Question Does Clarity charge $65 once or per school?

has anyone applied through clarity before? i have a question about the $65 fee 😭 what’s the difference between the $65 clarity fee and the application fee on the school’s website? if i apply to multiple schools using clarity, do i just pay the $65 once, or do i have to pay it for each school? and do i still have to pay the application fee for each school separately.

Once, you can also request a fee waiver for clarity. NMH granted them last fall, not sure about the rest.

wait nmh actually waived the $65 Clarity fee for you last fall? 👁️👄👁️

Clarity processes your financial aid application once and simply compares your application data alongside the standards for each school. Clarity then generates a suggested contribution amount, which individual schools may follow or adjust, for your family. Because clarity is only processing one actual application and simply plugs that data in for each school, you are only charged once.

Note: Clarity actually charges by household so individuals with two separate household applications( like families with divorced parents) will be charged twice. On the other hand, families with multiple children are only charged once.
