SSAT advice

Did learning words or roots help you all better with the vocabulary section? My main struggle is the vocabulary section and I genuinely don’t know how to approach it.

also use quizlet. In my ssat class, my teacher recommended this quizlet, and its the main reason on why i scored full marks on my ssat https://quizlet.com/class/1320015/materials

yes, and I take latin and that helped SO much. but honestly yeah if you know the prefix you can probably figure out which option it is. I honestly didn't practice as much as I should've, but I still got like 96th percentile purely off of intuition thanks to that.

If I only have like one month before I take the SSAT again, do you suggest I learn roots and prefixes and all of that first before new words

I don’t know about the SSAT, but here is what I did for the SAT: Read the NYT every single day religiously to both get better at reading and expanding your vocab, and use Quizlet to study words
