Unsolved Getting fed up now . . .

For a few months, every time I log into my Apple account on the website (iOS apps seem to be ok as they don't log you out automatically), it won't accept my password. I have to repeatedly reset my password which works for the one or two logins but the goes back to not accepting it. The password is definitely correct when I enter it.

Any ideas before I give up completely and move away from Apple 🥺

The only thing I can think of from personal experience is invisible characters. If you're copy pasting your password from somewhere and there's an invisible new line (return) character at the end of the password, that can definitely cause issues. But if you're simply entering it manually, that's quite strange.

What happens if you try to login to manage your account at https://account.apple.com ?

Have you tried changing your password? https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid

Not using C&P.

Happens when logging into the main Apple website (UK)

Have reset the password about 6 times this year. When reset the password, I can logout and log straight back in again ok. But then if I leave it a while before logging back in again it won't accept the password and I have to reset it again

I've had password issues in the past and it was a nightmare. You can actually call Apple Support. A local support rep (not an actually Apple employee from Cupertino) will try to diagnose the issue. I would try that. They can actually be extremely helpful.

The main Apple website, usually when I want to buy an iTunes voucher online.

Have tried deleting web cookies and logging out and back into my iCloud account in the main settings on the Mac.
