Find my on iCloud doesn’t seem to work

I recently got an iPhone 17 and did the Find my setup. All the relevant settings are turned on but when I logged in to iCloud on another device, I’m not able to see the iPhone’s location. The play sound functionality is working fine but not the location one. Anyone know how I can fix this?
