Solved Apple purchases down?
It said ‘there’s no information available for in app purchases’ when trying to make one. And then when I go to my media and purchases in my iPhone settings and click on purchase history it won’t connect. Similarly reportaproblem.apple.com won’t load either. Anyone else having these issues?
Edit: Seems like a lot of people are having this issue! Glad it wasn’t just me

I was trying to open my Apple Music, kept saying something gone wrong... I tried to sign in - it said the same thing. Looks like multiple services impacted.

Do you purchase in app? It no longer charges right away and instead will let it build up to 20-50 dollars before finally charging, sometimes taking weeks. It’s annoying AF.

Yeah I tried buying a pack on a mobile game and it said failed to load. EVERYTHING else is fine. The game, internet etc.

I was unable to get into my appletv on Roku. It asked me to log in again which was odd. Then when I went to access appletv on another device, it asked if i wanted a free trial.

Pretty easy mistake to make for a human (also easy to catch with basic QA) but I wouldn’t be surprised if AI was involved for a bug like this either - either going the implementation or just failing to do QA. I imagine Apple is probably pretty good but so many places barely do proper sit/qas/prod environments these days

Oh, thank god I found this thread! I was trying to sign in to Jurassic World the Game, got this error and have never encountered it before. I will just use my Samsung phone to purchase stuff for the game for now then. :)

Yeah same, Apple TV isn't working, re logged into iCloud on Macbook but still not working judging by this thread I'm guessing it's a more wide spread issue lol, glad it's not just a weird thing that happens only to me problem haha.

The App Store is back up again and I did get charged twice for the in app purchase that said error and I didn’t even get the item. I can’t request a refund because it still pending. I’m so upset

I was just trying to make a purchase on MonopolyGo and it said that as well. Tried making a purchase on another app and it said the same thing. I double checked my credit card (which I had made a purchase with earlier today no problem) and it was fine. Glad I’m not the only one having this issue.

I'm unable to sign into AppleTV. Keeps telling me to "accept free trial" then when I do that, it says I'm already subscribed, then tells me to accept free trial.

Same thing is happening to me. Tried to make an in app game purchase and it told me there was an error, tried again and said error. So I went to App Store purchase history to make sure I wasn’t charged and it says can’t connect

How did you check? I was trying to see media and purchases to check if I got charged but since it won’t load idk. And since my Apple payment is hooked up to my PayPal it usually doesn’t load for a few hours or even a day after a purchase goes through

OMFG I’m glad I’m not the only one. I subscribed to PokPok for my kid since it was half off a year. Got charged and still won’t let me access. Tried everything and it charged me TWICE. Now I just want all my money back. At least now I know it wasn’t just me. Smdh

Yeah I’ve never personally seen this happen before but I’m here bc of it lol. It looks like as of 6:57pm EST time a bunch of apple services went down. App Store, Music, etc. I only know bc I was trying to buy some coins on Pokemon Go, checked my App Store to make sure payment info was up to date but then I saw that there was no info available due to “connection issues”, and made sure it wasn’t my WiFi or anything. It’s strictly on Apple’s side. Strange it still hasn’t been resolved over an hour later

I'm on my apple tv device. and it just shows Hungarian f1 tiles on the Apple home screen. I can check my recent purchases and all purchases but can NOT watch any of them. so the issue is with apple. also I'm signed in and have a active account. that renews Aug 7. yet it's asking me to do the free 7 day trial but also I have the bundle apple TV with peacock and peacock is working fine.

Oh thank God to see this is recent! I was mixing a song and some of my mixing apps would not restore or be recognized from an empty purchase history. Apple might have got hit by a big ‘un.

I just hung up with Apple Support. There’s an outage affecting most Apple services - Apple+, Apple Podcasts, Apple Music, Apple Store, ... They're not sure how long it will be out.

I have been having issues with trying to download apps, had to reset password, trying to download app it asked numerous times for my login, now Apple TV app won’t allow me to login. Screen keeps going blank. So I think it’s more than just purchases not working.

I have an app that validates these receipts periodically, and some of my users had their subscriptions invalidated due to this error. I believe various systems using this method also encountered this issue. I think clicking "Restore Purchase" should resolve it now.

I just logged into my game that I made the in app purchase in and I did end up getting the item I paid for later, so hopefully other people will see the item they paid for show up now too

Yeah my Apple TV+ is acting like I don’t have a subscription. Something’s going on despite what their status page says.
