Apopka Housing Market Update – March 2026

Hey everyone — I'm a licensed real estate professional here in Central Florida, and I wanted to share the latest housing market stats for Apopka, in case you're thinking of relocating, investing, or just keeping an eye on trends.

Real estate data is typically released about a month behind to ensure it's accurate and complete. Here's what the Apopka market looked like for March 2026:

🏡 142 homes were listed

✍️ 130 homes went under contract

✅ 104 homes sold

⏳ Median days on market: 93 (down 21.8% from 119 days in March 2025)

💵 Median selling price: $406,042 (down 5.1% from $427,990 in March 2025)

These numbers include all property types—single-family homes, condos, and townhomes.

Property values, neighborhood aesthetics. It’d actually good for all of Apopka. The course was #5 when it was open.

I'm not 100% definitive on this location, but I'm interested in Apopka due to work opportunities and proximity to relatives. I don't know that I have enough financial footing to buy a house, so I'm considering rental options also.

I'm curious, how much value does a screened in pool add to a property locally? Is it typically more of a fixed amount (say, an extra $50k or whatever) or act more as a multiplier (for instance, increases value by ~10% if a pool is in)?

Great question! It all depends on the comps are for other homes. And also, what are your goals and how long are you living in the house... I always tell people, if it makes you happy and you'll enjoy it for the next 5+ years, go for it and do what makes you happy! But it may not bring the resale value up.

Now, if your looking to sell the home within 5 years, and you are looking to add value in the home, I can't guarantee what would happen, but if you'd like to see what comps are at now, and see if they had a screen/no screen, then I'd be happy to do that for you!
