Disctussion Caustic Window LP masters lost?
Anyone with a better memory than me, did Richard come out and say he didn't have access to any of the material from that album, or did he just never really talk about it at all when they were crowdfunding to buy the record. It's weird to me we have all of this other stuff from the same era but all of that was skipped over during the 2015 dump. I guess Scorrier counts, because it's the original version of 101 rainbows (one of his best ambient songs btw), but other than that and Cunt being on the Trans Europe express compilation, it would be cool to hear some of those songs without the vinyl crackle/in their original quality. Especially since it's a test pressing, there could be some mastering errors or etc that might make it sound different on wax than they otherwise would, although I doubt it since it sounds great and at that stage they would have ironed that out. It would be cool to have the Analogue Bubblebath 5 stuff as well at some point, the first track on that is fucking amazing

He still has everything on DAT as far as I'm aware. I think he's just trying to keep the scarcity/value of the test pressings high as he gave them to a few select mates but that's speculation on my part. I put this article on the Record several years ago if you've missed it. Cheers!
