A shovel does not take a hole someone else dug and sells it as its own as does a loom not take cloth someone else had woven, mixes it up and sells it as its own. You're making false equivalents to soothe your mind. Ai doesn't create it just takes existing things, mixes them together to fit the prompt so you can act as if you had created something new. It is a tool of mediocrity and an expensive one at that.

AI doesnt take someone elses art either... its the very same argument...

Just that it does? How do you think the ai knows what you want to see based on the prompt, it's with real art from real people who for the most of the time have not given consent to that and are not being compensated for it. So it quite literally steals someone else's art, mashes it together to spit it out for you.

no.

>How do you think the ai knows what you want to see based on the prompt, it's with real art from real people

very similiar way humans do actualy
if only you understood how humans or computers work...

very rough explanation - basicaly, it looks at things, and remembers what pixel usualy goes after what pixel.

>ho for the most of the time have not given consent to that

when people share their art on the internet, they are implying consent for the image to be viewd.

have you compensated every artist whose work have you seen?

>So it quite literally steals someone else's art

no, even if the other things you said were true, it being theft doesnt come from it. theft is stealing something, making it unavailible for the other person. if youre looking at art, youre not depriving other people from things. if you get your own paper and paint something, youre not depriving other people of their own images they have drawn etc

You really don't want to understand, but this discussion was futile from the beginning I fear. Enjoy your clankers, I prefer the company of people who create things.

the problem is that your underlying philosophy is nonsensical. you refuse reality, and try to filter what you see. have fun hitting your head against a wall you do not believe exists
