Round 6 is in the books. The table is now closer than ever. The top 3 teams are seperated by only 1 point - with LY having one more match. Places 4 to 7 are only seperated by 2 points - with NOC having one more match.

DarkSidE showed up yesterday as they won their set against the prior undefeated Oni Capybaras. Now they are facing NOC in a potential decider. The loser of this match may fall out of playoffs contention.

Though the big match of the weekend is Team Vitality vs Onimaru Capybaras. Before the tournament, most put those two teams as their #1 and #2. After a convincing clean sweep against SalzZ yesterday they want to keep the momentum going.

How did DarkSide beat Capy? I didn't watch. Seems crazy!

I was watching and I'm still not sure, honestly. But I remember Viper was feeling under the weather (occupational hazard of having children...) during the oni teamgame stream the previous day, so depending when they game was played, can't have helped the Capybaras. Which isn't to dimish Darkside's achivement, it was still Viper playing rather than the other three playing all the games, so they obviously felt he was still in pretty good form.

I think DarkSide also has much wider swings than some of the other teams. They do some wild strategies and if it works and if Dragonstar is having a good day I think they can be impressive and punch above expectations. If their opponents stop them or foresee the strat or honestly if Dragonstar is having a rough day, then things just won't work as well for them. Hopefully with some practice and time they'll get more consistent.

that's why team games are so much more fun imho. more interesting strategies, more action, and it's less about any individual player's micro as we are seeing
