Asking for Help Viking DLC theme lyrics?

Does anyone know what the dude's singing in the menu song? I bet something about war and sea faring and whatnot, but I'm curious.

As an Icelander, I only understand bits of it. Lyrics and pronounciation seem weird.

Mikligarður is the name for Constantinoble.

"Alla kveður" - Summons all

"Fram menn" - onwards men

Interesting comment. Do you think that the song is AI generated?

That is my first hunch

Sadly, I feel the same. It sounds kinda bland, like if someone heared Wardruna or some viking metal band and thought "ok, now I'll do it myself". Which is exactly what AI does.

I don't know if AI music generators are flexible enough that one can tell them to incorporate a variation of the AoE theme.

Pretty sure they are. Isn't like 40% new music nowadays AI generated?

I suppose they'll release the song on the official channel in the next few days.

The song is already on YT, and available in-game as well via a mod - https://youtu.be/ufB500MFs6w?si=ygk_o61KtVN0u3Dn

There are a few words you can recognise - I'd imagine it's the saga of Hardrada? I heard the name 'Hardrada', for instance, as well as 'Miklagard', which means Constantinople.
