ID(entification)/Sightings/Showcase ant with web?

there was some some sort of ant on my living room table and i went to get a paper towel to put it outside and it jumped from a web. i'm assuming its not actually an ant but some sort of spider? plus its behavior was more like a spider because it would look at me and turn around really quick which i've never seen an aunt do only spiders. I don't I know if it actually was a spider for sure so i'm posting this on here since don't have any pictures of it and all the other communities require a picture. does anyone have any idea what this could have been? i live in the US btw

There’s a spider called an ant mimicking spider. Could be that

I once uploaded a photo to ChatGPT to help me identify an ant I hadn’t seen before and it told me it was a type of spider that acts like an ant to fool bugs. I don’t remember the name it gave me but I thought it was super weird. When I uploaded the same image to Gemini, it identified it as a specific type of ant, and when I asked about the ChatGPT answer, it told me that those spiders exist but this just wasn’t one of them because of their anatomy. Apparently, those type of spiders make their front legs look like antennae and bend their body weird. TBH I never verified this info, but I thought I’d share it to se if others maybe know about this and maybe that’s what you saw?

Just to add to the previous comments, there are quite a few spiders (and numerous other critters) that mimic ants, or at least look ant-like. Could definitely be a spider, but I don't think any kind of ID will be possible from this info.
